  • Do you coach or work with people who come from, or identify with, diverse cultural backgrounds?
  • To what extent are you curious about other people, their cultural perspectives and needs?
  • What do you notice within yourself as a coach when interacting across cultures?
  • And how do you respond when a judgment quietly arises during a cross-cultural dialogue?

These are timely and relevant questions, perhaps now more than ever.

On Thursday, 4 December 2025, the Intercultural Coaching Community of the Netherlands (NOBCO ICC) will host a webinar titled “Effectively Working Across Different Cultures: The Four Competencies of Intercultural Readiness.”

Ahead of the webinar, registrants will have the opportunity to complete the Intercultural Readiness Check (IRC), a validated, high-quality tool designed for both individual and group interventions in cross-border and domestic diversity contexts.

Join us for a meaningful conversation with Dr. Ursula Brinkmann, our guest speaker and co-developer of the IRC, and with each other.

This interactive event builds on our earlier sessions and aims to deepen participants’ intercultural awareness while strengthening their intercultural coaching competencies. Completing the assessment will help you understand how you currently approach intercultural interactions. What you do well, what you find challenging, and how you can continue to develop the competencies you need.

Engaging in discussion with fellow participants will also allow you to hear how other coaches address the intercultural dimension in their day-to-day work, offering fresh perspectives, practical insights, and shared learning.

The event promises to be engaging, insightful, and practical, especially for coaches who wish to enhance their effectiveness in intercultural settings and explore the impact of intercultural sensitivity on their coaching practice.

We look forward to welcoming you to this inspiring and educational session. One that contributes to a richer understanding of what it truly means to co-create and embody an intercultural environment.

The insights gathered from the IRC will be an important first step for the NOBCO ICC’s research on the intercultural sensitivity of NOBCO coaches. Results will help us to further help advance intercultural coaching competencies amongst the NOBCO coaches.
